Very Serious issue at Woodmen. she thinks Mom is either sick or injured...eggs appear to be scattered. Dad has been and no response. She appears to be alive, but has been in the same position for the past several hours. Jean has contacted woodmen and DNR...Jean will continue to record. I don't think I can bear to watch.

This does not look good, folks.

Right now it looks bad. I think I'm going to have to defer to Jean...who stated on FB that she'll keep the recorder going.

Mom is still breathing, but its fairly rapid and looks labored. I can see one egg .

I am about ready to throw in my Falcon Towel!!! (Thank goodness for new eggs and hatches!)

Tsusan alerted me to this situation.

From their Facebook Page. Posted an hour ago. Siri, the resident female, is missing.

    I'm sorry to share bad news ... but, it seems the eggs were left uncovered for several hours last night. I'll have to go back and review footage but it looked like Brock was on the eggs all day yesterday. If anyone saw the "changing" of the guard, let me know. But at about 6:40 pm last night, Brock got off the eggs, hopped on the ledge, seemed to call out (I didn't hear an answer), and then took off. I believe it was him that came back this morning about 6:19, but he is gone again.

    I did drive over last night and see if I could spot an injured bird, or even one on the top of the buildings but I didn't see anything. The GM operations folks are keeping an eye out. I have reached out to the DNR this morning, so we'll see what they say.
