Dale Hollow ~ Lots of concern about the littlest bobblehead. As you can see from Ferenz's photo, he is substantially smaller than the other 2. Breaks my heart.

Dale Hollow Lake, Tennessee:
There is still hope, that DH 3 is a fighter to stand up for getting its share more often as it was last days.
Look at this nice crop he had after a feed of DAD, and obviously DH 3 is growing a bit.
THX to MsO's video on Hancock forum. So stand by, wait and see whether feed situation will getting better...

Eagleholic report
As many know, the littlest eaglet at Dale Hollow referred to as DH3 was significantly smaller than the two older eaglets and did not have the same opportunities to get food and thrive. This afternoon, the oldest eaglet severely attacked the youngest and it appears that the youngest did not survive. However, this is not confirmed. A Critical Watch Alert is issued when things happen that may be difficult to watch so that people will know and may choose not to watch the nest at this time. [ 86 more words ]

D3 did not make it. :cryinggirl:

There are two nests at Jordan Lake!

The First Nest eaglets are named COFFEE and HC.

The H&G eaglets are named RAISIN and GRANOLA per this Facebook post:

Doc Ellen's Dreamingsongsphotos at Jordan Lake.
11 hrs · Apex, NC ·

JL Eagle nest report: H&G nest
This morning I managed to get 28 seconds of the two chicks Raisin and Granola playing in their nest.
That is Granola who is walking the edge of the nest. My heart always skips a beat when I see a chick of this age of the nest rim. Granola cannot yet fly and if something startles her she might try to do what birds do when they are afraid: fly. So I asked the Creator to hold her steady on the brim.
here is the little snippet; has two quick clips.
