Thank you for pictures, videos and all! I've been away from home all day so they were very much appreciated. Boy there sure was some freezing going on today! Also, the chicks all had that forlorn look - poor sweeties.

Yes, cam is freezing to the point that it is acting like a still cam.

Nice coverage earlier to the extent possible (freezing cam). Glad everybody got through the banding safely, including adults. The one I can always recognize is Fluffy, aka ? That one has a pointy head as is very noticeable in this pic:

In case you can't tell, its the one on this end. Very noticeable in profile.

Baby is a boy - Bolt
Fluffy a girl - Storm

Is this correct??

I think that's right...The only one I'm 100% sure of is Flash, who will always be Curly to me...LOL

thanks for the great pics above...and yes, I agree with you Sally, stressful day for the kids. They've mostly been resting...

some more pics from the 7 pm feed. What I found interesting was that Curly, aka Flash (on the Right) was not an enthusiastic eater. Miss Piggy is usually first in line. Not this time, she waited until the very end, though from the size of her crop, she got her fill...It was a very long feed.

In order of appearance, I think...Fluffy, Baby, Curly...until we can match band numbers with names, I'm not sure who is Bolt and who is Storm..

Feed over and a little bit of exercise

And then Spark brought more food.

The kids wouldn't eat..

Durand gave up and left..

Can see all 3 chicks ... 2 @ front of nest and 1 on porch ... so close ... they can touch each other! :flirty:
