Yellow-foot came back in, so blue-foot didn't go out.

Edit: I love the look on the one's face as he/she is looking at the one out of the scrape. Could really put some cute words to these "guys"! Made it back in and collapsed. Pure entertainment!

Am back home after today's birding project, and will be able to watch for a while now. At the moment am seeing three chicks sacked out in the scrape. Not surprised to hear that at least one left the scrape earlier.

Lil Dad was just in the scrape and fed the chicks. They were all lunging at him. Yellow foot ate quite a bit, and also wound up with a leg which at first he (?) spit out. Unfortunately after a while he ended up spicing up that leg again, and after wrestling with it for a while, swallowed it. The feeding started around 4:30.

Just watched Niecey conduct a feeding, but there wasn't a lot to it. All chicks ate, and two of them were having a tug of war with a big piece of the meat. Am noticing that TWO chicks have very yellow feet. Didn't seem like that before. One of the yellow foots had a leg, but pretty sure it didn't swallow it. Niecey is up there on the ledge right now wailing, but can't see her. And forgot, one yellow foot was picking at the other yellow foot's crop.

One chick is standing and looks like it's trying to swallow something. Honestly can't say which one, but pretty sure it's not white foot. I guess I'm the only one watching right now. Trying to document what's going on.

THIS IS THE FEEDING FROM LAST NIGHT AT 4:30 THAT JANE SPOKE OF. WAS GLAD TO SEE ALL HAD FULL CROPS, FIRST TIME SINCE THE CHICK WAS GAGGING THAT IT HAD A FULLER CROP. GOOD TO SEE. RECORDING THIS MORNINGS, BREAKFAST, VIDEO PROCESSING.

I'm very late checking in here this morning after oversleeping big time. Chicks are all huddled over by the back door at the moment. Niecey was on the shield when I first tuned in, as her tail was visible, but heard a whir of wings and now she's gone.

I saw all of that feeding. It began around 10:15. it wasn't a very big meal. White foot missed the beginning of it. All ate well. White foot scarfed down a leg, and later so did one of the yellow foots. (Feet?) Not sure how to word that. I think the chick in concern is doing that gaping again. But I think it was the other yellow foot that ate the leg. Am going to be away from the computer for a while shortly.

I AGREE JANE ABOUT ALL YOU SAID, VIDEO COMING AFTER IT PROCESSES. AT LEAST THE ONE OF CONCERN IS EATING REGULAR NOW AND THE GAPPING OF THE MOUTH IS NORMAL, I SEE LIL DAD AND NIECEY DOING THE SAME. I DON'T THINK WHITE FOOT GOT NEAR AS MUCH AND THEN WAS PICKING AT SCRAPS IN THE SCRAPE. LOOKED LIKE SHE CARRIED OFF A PELLET THE ONE TIME, LOL!

I'm still on here, but as soon as I post this will be away for about an hour. It is quite humid here today, and we may be getting some storms later on. It feels more like summer here than spring.

Niecey just arrives with a jaybird,from the stash?, defeathered jay to feed the kids at 1120 hrs

Looks as if the kids have Niecey "boxed in" when she came. they must be ravenously hungry

Looks like big chick is getting it all. I thought that Lil' Dad brought it in and she jumped down from the shield to grab it. It's hard to tell sometimes. OMG, one of the babies has a leg and foot and trying to get it down, well it's down. They need more food, two yellow feet didn't get but like one bite each, excluding the foot.
