She really does look huge. I sure wish they weighed them here like they do at other places..

I also hope they really examined them before they actually got to the banding room..after reading that one of the kids at IPL has frounce, it sure makes you watch them more closely here...they even swabbed for it at the KY nest this year...

I guess those days are over since they won't be banding here anymore..

I meant "she." Haha. I doubt we will see the cam next year which makes me very sad! I wish I would have known all of you back in 2009 when this all began because next year I think I will be feeling cheated!

I don't think they check for parasites at Columbus either. That flounce is horrible. Remember Spirit a couple of years ago who was saved by C&C!

Two things - 1. I found out they do check for parasites at Columbus and 2. there will be a cam next year at this site. Great news! Many thanks to Donna for the info! :smilehat:

I'm not giving up on the cam for next year!! We may have to start making donations like they are already doing at other nests...and I for one will be more than happy to donate..

I will keep an eye on them. I am going out to some yard work and gardening but I will be in and out all day. Right now one is in the box and two are on the porch being very yakky!!!! Well right now it is one being very yakky. Sounds like I want food yak! LOL

adult just came on ledge and went to lower ledge and down by box. adult is in front of box and I see one chick by box and one on ledge looking at me .will post picture in a minute

I think that one shot is not a kid as not moving It was not there in SGB picture so I thought:egg12:

adult came in . I did nto see prey as cam keeps stopping but I think it is feeding by door. see adult on inside of box. cannot see kids . Actions are those of a feed. adult is hot
