NIECEY JUST TRAMPED ON ONE OF THE KIDS WHEN SHE CAME BACK IN THE SCRAPE OR ELSE SHE WAS TELLING IT TO GET OUT THE SUN AND GAVE IT A PUSH. NOW ONE JUST CAME OVER AND LAYED ON NIECEY'S FEET, HOW SWEET.

Niecey is standing there sleeping while guarding the chicks. Don't think she's too happy about any of them leaving the scrape, but it is surely going to happen. And one chick was picking at Niecey's talons. THAT made her move. She's up on the shield now.

The two in front were begging for food, the one in the back panicked thinking that she was missing out on lunch and charged up to the front too.

They are so cute. Niecey finally felt the pressure and moved back to the shield.

Have been away from the computer for a while. The one new view is FANTASTIC. Chicks look so much smaller from a distance. It is REALLY humid here. I think I said that before today.

Love the new view too! They are going to be out playing on that ledge in no time. It's good to see them being a little bit active even with the heat and humidity.

Just caught Lil' Dad leaving the nest with a small prey. Maybe they didn't want it.

BEFORE THE FEEDING THAT TIME, WHITE FOOT GIRL WAS SPITTING UP SOME BLOOD. SHE LOOKS TOTALLY STUFFED, SO SHE MUST HAVE HAD MOST OF THE FEEDING BEFORE THIS ONE.

I didn't see that last feeding, but figured there was one, as there were just two poop shots. Can't remember chicks spitting up that bloody stuff before in other years. Discovered that if you enlarge the picture you can see the corner of the U Building roof. If you keep the regular size, the red "live" symbol hides the U roof. Nobody is sitting over there at the moment. We are to have one more day of this heat tomorrow, although it's to be less humid. Much cooler weather is in store for Wednesday, and it's also to be quite windy that day.

Niecey just completed a short feeding. White foot grabbed the prey from her, and Niecey had to back into the scrape to get it. Then white foot was fed most of that meal, including a foot. The other two didn't get a whole lot, but don't think they needed it from the look of their crops. One yellow foot also wound up with a foot and finally spit the thing out. White foot managed to get a hold of that foot and ate it, also. What an appetite that bird has. While all this was going on Lil Dad was on the stick. Could see his head, and he was wiping his beak on the stick. Niecey is on the stick now.
