SHERCO

this cam times out, gotta keep refreshing
9 am cutie lookin around, flies off
10.30 falcon returned, goes in box
10.45 falcon on outer perch - appears to be eating - all I see is tailtip
11.07 Falcon flew into box, another went in - so 2 falcons in box - but only for a split second,
- then the one falcon left in box walked around - ate pebbles?
- Cam times out after 5 minutes - dunno if thats xcel or my DSL

That cam is too frustrating. It wont continue to stream longer than 5 minutes.
How can we watch falcons?

Sherco has the cutest falcon, wind was blowing her 'skirt' - so fluffy

Just want to let you know I saw a banded red/black falcon perched at her nest box at Black Dog, and at King I saw a falcon standing quietly in the rocks of its nest box...

1.15 pm I see a moving tail tip out on perch - I presume its eating
- She went in box, pebble picking, swimming
3.00 pm She's out on perch - I see the flick of a tailtip
- Would she be pebbling and swimming if she didnt have a mate?
3.30 pm Got em both in box!

They are quick lil buggers!

I'd stream it in a corner of my monitor but xcel cams wont allow that - they time out :(

Male...tried to read the band, but no luck..

King...no luck reading his band either...but, he was doing every thing that he could to get the female into the box...no luck...

6.37 am Female on perch, goes in box, male joins, both leave
8.16 am Pretty preening on perch
3.00 pm Falcon perching on edge of box. My guess is this is a young falcon.

5.20 pm Falcon on the roof, just sat there

She moves to perch and peeps.

8.18 am Falcon on far side of box
8.30 am Falcon in box - is that an egg-laying position? She left
8.55 am Falcon with bright purple band on box edge. Flew off - I see another falcon round the far side of box
9.00 am Falcon stomping around inside box, making a racket
Seems like 2 falcons but what do I know - did not look like a mate to me
9.13 am This looks like Mr. Jowly - doesnt look like the other bird
- He is looking all over, around, up - as if following a flying bird
4.20 pm falcon is back - briefly - gone before I cud get a snip
.430 pm back again - inside box - fusses around quite awhile inside
= HEY! I think this bird has a black band on its left leg and a white X
I think I called her - Princess Kris - last year cuz you said its Kris - and she's at - KING! :eggroll:

The one falcon is just gorgeous - with pronounced jowls.

9.15 am GSB - I hear kakking
- The falcons are chasing the eagles - an eagle beautifully floated away from cam when GSB panned! WOW!
- A pair of eagles nest in a tree in an island in the middle of the river
3.40 pm GSB - Michele on box edge kakking
