More great captures, Loza. Thanks. Cam is cutting in and out a LOT right now. Looks like White is on the ledge at the moment.

Spent about an hour and a half downtown tonight. Found Sue and a friend on the roof of the 5th Street garage. The girls were both on the ledge for a while. Lil Dad was on the glass cube above the ledge. He flew over to the stash behind 333 and got something which he took to the 11th floor ledge. White spied him down there, flew down to get it, and Lil Dad vamoosed. Can't remember all of what happened, but at one point the two girls and Lil Dad were all in the air at the same time, flying loops around 333 and RIGHT over our heads. The girls were on the roof of the Carson Building for a while, and then they both ended up on the roof of Strawberry Square. For those of you out of town, that's a high building in behind the U Building. It cannot be seen from the cam. Sue and her friend had seen Niecey over at the louvers of the U Building before I got there, but I personally didn't see her. When I left down there around 8:45 one of the girls had returned to the 13th floor ledge, and Lil Dad was on the glass cube above it.

BTW--- Haven't heard that word Vamoosed for a long time. Use it myself. LOL!

Must also say how great to have the "on sight" pictures Reenie of the two sisters. So cute the way they sit together.
Also Losa your captures are great too. Never can see too may pictures of them.

Jane your spending a lot of time there too, which is much appreciated.

The falcons must not be in the immediate area right now. A brazen Mourning Dove is parading all over the place on the ledge right now.

The juveniles are spending more time in the air, getting flight and hunting lessons from the adults. This means they're spending less time at the ledge. The live stream feed will end tomorrow, June 26th. The still image capture is available year-round from the DEP Falcon Page.

THE ONLY ONE I SAW AT LUNCHTIME WAS WHO I BELIEVE WAS NIECEY UP BY THE LOUVERS ON THE UNIVERSITY. I'M GUESSING SHE GAVE THE BALL TO LIL DAD TODAY OR THIS AFTERNOON FOR TEACHING. I DID HEAR A FLYBY THIS MORNING AT SOME POINT, BUT NOBODY LANDED ON THE LEDGE THEN.

HOPING TO SEE THE GIRLS LATER. VERY DISAPPOINTED THE CAMS ARE GOING OFF SO SOON. I LOVE HEARING THEM EVERY NIGHT WHEN THEY COME BACK TO THE LEDGE...........

JUST HEARD A JUVIE FLY BY! LIL DAD LANDED BY SCRAPE, RED ON POINT SCREAMING!!

I HEAR ANOTHER ONE SCREAMING IN THE DISTANCE NOW TOO, PROBABLY COMING IN BEFORE THE RAIN :-)

EDIT: WHITE GIRL LANDED ON THE POINT, BUT NOW BY THE ORANGE POLE. SHE DIDN'T STAY LONG AND TOOK OFF AND NOW RED TOOK OFF TOO, CAN STILL HEAR THEM FLYING BY SCREAMING.

REPORT FROM A FRIEND:

I just got back from lunch and at 1:40, I heard both girls screaming and looked up, they were flying toward the RCSOB from Forum Place. They were at the ledge for a short period of time and I saw them flying around. Then I was seeing nothing for a minute or two, and notice a falcon on the back top of the RCSOB. At the same time, the two girls came screaming overhead from the Capitol (I was at the Forum Bldg.). The one on top of RCSOB took off with them and they were play-attacking each other and then flew out of my view. I didn’t hear them after that.

BOTH GIRLS ON THE LEDGE NOW. WHITE GIRL MIGHT HAVE BROUGHT SOMETHING BACK WITH HER, NO, JUST PICKING AT SCRAPS. MAYBE THEY AREN'T DOING SO WELL AT MID AIR TRANSFERS AND LIL DAD HAS TO GET DOUBLE OR TRIPPLE THE FOOD?

White landed on the ledge a bit ago to disturb Red by the stick. I think it was Friday night when I thought I saw a falcon on a state office building to the east of the Capitol. It would have been quite a hike to be able to confirm that. Due to the fact that White spent a good bit of time over there the day she fledged, it wouldn't surprise me.

Just saw Niecey doing something really strange. She was sitting up on the shield doing this flapping and twisting around like she was possessed by demons or something. Half thought it was a juvie that couldn't keep its balance, but it was definitely her. When the view came back she had turned around, and when the view returned again she was gone.
