CHICKS HAVE BEEN ALONE FOR A WHILE NOW, BUT SUN IS ON THEM SOME. THEY ARE PREENING! GROWING SO FAST :flirty:

EDIT: 7:46 NIECEY CAME BACK, WATCHED THE KIDS FOR A BIT AND THEN GOT ON THE SHIELD.

Checked in here a while ago to find the chicks alone. Glad to read they've had breakfast this morning. I am getting only one cam view from the cam inside the building, but happy it's live video.

FEEDING IS OVER AND NIECEY REALLY CHECKS ALL AROUND THE CHICKS FOR DROPPED FOOD. WHAT A GOOD MOMMY SHE'S BECOMING :-)

Agreed about Niecey being a good mother. She reminds me so much of dear Mom. I get the impression that at least one of the chicks has its eyes open enough to see now.

NIECEY WAS OUTSIDE SUNBATHING JUST FOR A MIN OR SO AND THEN CAME BACK IN. WITH THE SIDE VIEW ONLY, YOU CAN JUST SEE HER TAIL :-)

12:45 THERE WERE GUYS ON OUR ROOF. I'M GUESSING AIR CONDITIONING, WELL LIL DAD AND NIECEY WERE ON THE JOB! SWOOPING AND DIVING AT THEM. VERY COOL TO WATCH AFTER A LONG WALK AT LUNCHTIME. TOOK 2 PICS WITH MY CELL PHONE YOU CAN SEE NIECEY AND LIL DAD FLYING ON THEM. EVEN THOUGH THE SOUND ISN'T TOTALLY RIGHT YET, I CAN NOW HEAR THE BABIES! SO CUTE!

Have been home for a little while and of course checking the cam. Lil Dad popped into the scrape a moment ago to check on the chicks. Cool pictures of Lil Dad and Niecey flying around above the building earlier today.

The kids are getting "HUGE"! And wonderful to see them starting "activities of daily living," PREENING!!!

Was just about to comment that both views have returned. And Niecey POPPED into the scrape. I corrected my spelling error on the previous post. :-)

i was just about to turn this thing off for a while when Niecey arrived in the scrape with some food. All chicks got their share. Niecey is certainly not keeping a neat house, as she was pulling little feathers right and left off that prey. Got the impression there was still a good bit of meat left on that prey, and she took off with it. The smallest chick certainly is a scrapper.

Missed the feeding of the Jay. Niecey was just there with more food, but only one chick showed any interest. It took a few bites and then collapsed. Can here Niecey thumping on the ledge again.
