3.30 pm Caught a glimpse of falcon

3.45 pm Frannie is swimming in her gravel, sits inside box n preens, looks content
4.00 pm Both falcons in box - he stayed about 8 minutes n left her standing there. Isnt that a song?
- She's pebbling - swim then scooping pebbles
4.30 she is still there, now perch looking at me ;)
5.04 still there - and xcel cams quit on me
THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL BIRDS

6.35 am Michele comes peeping - onto the ROOF of the box - huh??
- LOL! Now I see her TAIL - I think she's on the box cam!
6.54 am MATING

Can you give me a copy of your - alphabeek ?

GSB scenery is beautiful - the cam pans around.
But all that pair do is mate here, mate there, mate EVERYwhere -
and they are NOISY!

3.20 am She is sitting in the box - actually standing - whatever - apparantly been there all night.
6.00 am She has shifted position slightly a few times. Cam keeps cutting out. Dang DSL!
6.15 am She looks around
6.37 am Male comes - she leaves - he stays - no eggs - is this odd behavior?
6.39 - both gone to brekky
6.40 am - guess not - one is back again - inside - looking out - man, I wish there was sound!
- I wish Xcel was on ustream! for all its faults its better than the xcel setup
6.50 am Falcon perching on outside box edge as dawn breaks - IR shd go off any moment
7.04 am Frannie returns - inside box

BINGO!
FWIW - I HAVE a GUESS.
I think there is another falcon or 2 here, and this pair is guarding THEIR nest!
sky, if the female isnt bonding with the male, maybe we have a territory and/or mate challenge here.

- I do not know the meaning of that peep n bow show - unless its just bonding -
- or her acceptance of his nest

6.41 pm She's been siting there for a couple hours - I suspect she's there for the night again

5.15 pm My guess is she is kakking - the way her beek is moving that'd be my guess - perched on box edge - she is banded, purple I think. Pacing inside box, goes around near side - seems upset

10.45 am Falcon perched on edge of box looking outward
4.08 pm Falcon on corner of roof - tail to us
- I also saw the bird inside box during day but didnt record time
6.18 pm there are 2 falcons - one on far side of box - one going in n outta box with bird prey - looks angry
- Its a terrible pic - blame cam - awful cam - just awful

6.00 am awoke, looked around, tucked n dozed off again
6.24 am This bird chased the other off - BOTH were in box briefly but NOT the peep n bow bd_3-27chasER
- I think the 2 birds are a male and female - my screen shot of the 2 in box didnt work :( dang :(
Now bird 2 is perched edge of box lookin up - dang cams keep quitting! its frustrating
7.00 am Bird out on outer perch
1.30 pm We may get an egg any day, she sits in scrape, then flies off, returns, sits, repeats
2.00 pm Perched on box edge
2.54 pm She was laying in her scrape, the walked over to gather pebbles when male entered - and she left box

WE MAY GET AN EGG THIS WEEKEND - MAY!

Amy - color band is black/red? FWS band isn't faded at all, but it almost looks black/green to me.
6.45 am I tried to see a band when light was decent but bird is hiding it.

6.30 am The male comes into the house and she leaves - he sits in house - bd_3-28a
- She is sitting on the top rail watching the sunrise - I can barely see her over the roof corner
- The male stayed inside as if there's an egg there - I dont see one - nice hole for them tho
7.00 am Glorious rich blue sky! - She is still sitting on the top rail, no one home inside
7.30 am One inside box
- cams died - AGAIN
noon - These 2 are so cute! I saw one enter box - start peeping - the other flew to that far sky perch to keep watch
HOLY COW! I saw them mating up there! WHOA!

4.00 pm She is poking around inside box, swimming, poking , sitting
5.15 pm She looked like she was about to lay an egg - with Dad pacing the outside highrail
- but then she came to box edge and perched n preened
- This appears to me to be a small female - I have trouble telling them apart, but I am sure the male wont lay an egg

6.45 she went inside - she's round - must be a cold dawn, she just went in then back out, didnt stay
