Everybody is ok , nobody fell of the ledge, nobody died of fright, Nobody had tric or mites, the building didn't catch on fire, they remembered the colored tape. etc. Another successful banding.

At least this year they did not bring the fledglings around for everyone to see up close, and they seemed to try to minimize the birds' "upside down" time. Too bad about the fire drill, though.

Chick #1 was banded at the ledge. Female, Red Tape

Banding chick #2

Female: 900 grams, White Tape...don't have the band #

Banding chick #3

Female: 855 grams, b/g 58/BR, Blue Tape

Except for the stupid timing of the fire drills, all went well. Now they need to fix the aim on the cameras just a bit.

I missed the band number for the second bird too, MA. They did it while the alarm was going off and with all the confusion, I couldn't hear what he said.

Me either...only thing I heard was "White tape"...I hope Reenie got the #'s...

Tape colors are red for the first white for the second {one with yellow legs} blue for the third{pale white legs} Blood from officer holding them. Band number for second one is 58 BR

Sorry band number 58 BR is the third. Just looked at my paper. Because I didn't get any info on fist one I got mixed up. Again I apologize.

I think Lil' Dad just brought a snack to the point, Niecey ran to get it and Red Girl finally got up the courage to come out from behind the box to check things out.

Well, Niecey just landed on the point but didn't have any food with her. I guess she's not finished fighting the bad guys yet. Red is screaming though.
