March 16

I had emailed Fargo - this is their reply.

We will have a camera up this year! Due to some technical difficulties we are still in the process of getting that set up but should be making some progress today or tomorrow. Last week we received word of a possible Peregrine in the area

March 27 at 8.15 am still NO CAM

I emailed them again - got this reply -

Thanks for the email! We appreciate your interest in our Falcon project. Here is the link to the page: http://www.fargofalcons.com/ It should have an updated 2015 blog. Unfortunately due to camera technical difficulties, we're still trying to get the camera up and running. We haven't got the problem fixed yet but we are still hopeful! Thanks for hanging with us!

Currently, we have 1 maybe 2 (we've yet to see them at the same time) falcons back in Fargo. Our office staff and dedicated volunteers are very watchful of the situation! Like you said, we would be expecting them to lay eggs soon. We know they haven't done so yet! Stay tuned to the web page for more updates!

Thanks again for your email and for your interest in this project and Audubon Dakota. Audubon is a non-profit organization and it's only through the support of people like you that we are able to continue this falcon project! Hopefully we will get some closer eyes and ears on our birds soon!

Thanks! Yours in conservation,
Ben

April 14, 2015 Tuesday Shepnotes

7.51 am is that blood from breakfast - or a fight?
Hope its just from prey and will be preened off.
I've had enuf nestwar, takeover in Baltimore
Now a standoff with an RTH at Wilmington

I dont commonly see falcons with blood from prey - so I dunno how often it happens
