Asking a favor of members here!

High Falls gorge is a beautiful area in downtown Rochester that has deer, geese, ducks, turkeys, Heron, etc. living there plus, over the years, it has been a place where our juvie Peregrines have honed their flying skills. An organization, called Greentopia, has proposed putting a Zipline across the gorge and having light shows in hopes of attracting more people to the gorge. We Peregrine followers are horrified at the thought of this happening..not only ruining a beautiful natural waterfalls setting in a city or the driving out of wildlife but the possibility of our fledglings coming into contact with a Zipline wire! Please consider signing this petition to see if we can get this stopped! Thanks!

And the wildlife will soon be gone if it happens.

Genesee was seen yesterday so both are still hanging around. Sadly, Beauty and DC haven't been back to the nest box area since the kids fledged back in mid-June but both have been seen quite frequently at the Powers Building nest box. :girlsad3:
