Mystic just left, and the chicks are all standing in a row, looking out... "Wow- look at her go!" They are getting so big! I can't believe our chicks aren't being banded this year....

Columbus was banded today...Last banding ever for them...boo hoo..

Yes, Bummer, SGB... Glad Columbus had a heads up so there was alot of cam pics and cam video to save... I go back to last year for Canton and not mych was captured...double bummer....

Look at those crops growing right before my eyes! And look how polite the kids are right now... Won't be long til they become so aggressive at feeding time Mystic will have to jump out of the box...

Boy, I just watched a falcon feeding frenzy... Mystic came in with a good sized prey item, and started feeding the kids. She had to go non stop, with babies reaching in for food from every angle. At the end, one grabbed the small piece that was left, turned and ran - and gobbled it down! When it comes to prey, Mystic, bigger is better!

Today: it in the high fourties this morning. Santa can take back his cold weather and never bring it back!!! Even Mystic looks fed up with the chill....

Awww - look at our four fabulous fluffies! And their Mighty mom! They banded Mystic's daughter's 3chicks that nest in Canada today. Three girls!

Mr. Wing flapper is at it again- This time he lost control, almost flapping himself out of the nestbox, and crashing into the corner of the nest box. Looks like the others know to stay out of his way. They stayed in the back of the nestbox, against the wall.

We determined to have Two Girls and Two Boys!
For those not on Facebook, here is the Info for naming. Anyone on BCAW that isn't on Facebook that wants to participate in naming can leave the name on here and it will count toward the final tally!!

We are looking to give three of the four names. One of the females we named Anna in reference to Cheryl's mother.
That leaves one girl and the two boy's open for the following names:
Girl name list:
Sommer, Lexi, Madge, Maltos.
Boy name list:
Odin, Chase, Cooper, Axel, Stark.
If you like to participate in naming leave the name from the list in your comment(s)! Most commented names for each of the sexes will be chosen.
We will post the chosen names Tuesday 5/26/15, when we give Fledge Watch info.
