I was just watching the Woodman falcons and one of the chicks jumped up on the edge of the box and went down the front of the box. Doesn't look to be any ledge on that side of the box. I am sure they are not ready to fledge yet. I hope there are people watching out for these guys.

OH NO!! Did you email anybody?!! I don't know what is under that ledge either..

I don't know how often they monitor their FB page, but you may want to post your vid there in hopes somebody sees it..

I wouldn't know who to email SGB, The worse part is, it's Saturday.

Awesome!! I went and checked my email contacts (thought I had one for this site)..because I remembered freaking out several years ago the first time I saw a chick going between the box and the window...thought it was stuck..and ending up emailing a bunch of people and posting on their blog and FB page. (I never got a response on the FB page..but, I did get a blog response and a returned email.....

LOL...but, I still can't find it..

The other options is to contact Joel in Lincoln. Here is his email address:

I posted the video on a couple of Woodman Life sights. Also got my friend in Lincoln to try to contact Joel Jorgenson who banded the chicks. I guess we can only wait now and hope for the best.

tried looking at pciutres of building and they say on top but just where I do nto know

Thank you Ladies!
I only see two chicks now, one in the box and one on the ledge. I checked the archives on the Earth cam and 9:00am until about 12:30 pm two chicks were at the box. Around 9:13 I could hear another chick yelling and also a parent. That would be three accounted for. Hopefully the fourth one is there somewhere.

Bev, they aren't using that box this year, haven't used it for at least several years.
