I did see one of the falcons (Trinity, I think) stop by to check on the kids about half an hour ago, but I wasn't quick enough to get a picture. These chicks seem to be doing remarkably well, considering how much time they've been spending in the nest alone. |

Red Girl is feeding them something pretty big now -- maybe a mourning dove. I see dove and cuckoo feathers in the box. |

Gee, no wonder they are doing so well. Lots of food! thanks for reporting this morning Greg. Went by the City today, and always give a look over there. A number of birds in the air????? Look out....... |

The chicks look huge compared to mom Red Girl.  FYI - I haven't heard anything about banding yet, Shepherd. Based on information from previous years, I would expect it to occur in about 1 to 1 1/2 weeks. See the "About the Wilmington Falcons" topic for more information about hatch, banding, and fledge dates.
