Just saw a bonding session on the ledge. Too quick to capture a pic. One bird on the upper ledge by the nest cam and the other on the lower ledge. They flew off together. |

Thank you. It's a pleasure to be here. I usually post on the CMNH forum, but I'm so glad to be a part of BCAW. I love these birds, Columbus is the 1st falcon nest I ever followed and it is still my fave. Terka, the pics of Durand are just beautiful. What a difference a clean lens makes...lol.

Back home from a quick trip to Columbus :) We went to: America Birding Expo :))) The Bird Watcher’s Digest team have taken on the challenge of arranging a continental American Birding Expo. This is a massive and much-needed endeavor that will provide countless long-lasting benefits to the birding community and bird conservation. Lots of bird trip info, retail sales all related to birding, free info on hot spots in Ohio (bird hotspots!) Bird and Beans coffee -bird friendly habitat to migrating birds that spend winters in Latin Am.- and much more... I talked to several folks about the Falcon cam - hee-hee (!) Terka-great photo!! |

Welcome Nadia!! I wasn't able to make the birding expo and I could just kick myself! I do love the Audubon center here in Columbus! I hope you had a good time in Columbus, Beth!! Haven't been able to see any peregrines recently, but that is part and parcel of this time of year I suppose! |
