I just got to work and tuned into the UofA cam only to see an egg sitting in the nest box by its lonesome. I zipped over here to see when this all happened! V. exciting!!

It is. I saw them both in pictures and was shocked at how much they look alike. Carly had mentioned it earlier in the week and she was RIGHT!

:clap: Congratulations on your first egg! Was just checking the cam. Ai first there was just the egg all alone. Then a falcon's head appeared in the lower left of the cam. It stayed there, looking in on its egg for quite a while - so cute! Now momma has gone into the nest box, checked the egg and has perched on the edge of the nestbox, sitting quietly and moving its beak like it is talking to itself...

She really does...even though I've had the cam up forever, I never even noticed she was in labor. I saw her stretching/turning a few times... :teehee: I'm sure the DVR will show differently...
