This girl may be joining her brother & sister earlier than she wants if she keeps walking on that outer ledge. :sum5:

Good grief, I didn't expect one of the girls would go so soon. She looked good though. Was that the smaller girl? Stay safe sweetie.

Sometimes she tilts her head like she can hear somebody, maybe a sibling screaming for food.

I sure hope the other two are ok. The suspense kills me. I've been so spoiled by some of the sites. :leafwave:

Update on the second fledge. She was found on the ground near the water tower & placed in a small tree. (She's fine!)

A little sisterly love and affection prior to Walga’s launching.

Walga fledges out of the Concrete Hilton.

I sure wish they could place them higher up than a small tree to give her a better chance at another liftoff. Also was the maintenance man qualified to know that she wasn't injured?? I'm starting to worry about the male now. Good grief, I wish they have a fledge team.

too soon for a female to fledge. I Emailed to see if the one found was checked out and how high it was put. If it was not put high, chances are it will be on ground again.

they do not always come back to box and with this being a new pair, who knows where they will take them.
they really do nto know who they found , without bands.

fingers are crossed. They need to watch adults and see where they take food to , to find juveniles. They sometimes takes hours of watching.

Must admit , I have not had time to watch much, so I should really not say anything.

Good luck here :5val:
