If I had more time I would watch cam non stop to see if I could see flying out there.

with this being a new pair, they may not encourage kids to come back to nest box. Some do and some so not.

then young male had had such a good take off and he was more than capable, so I am thinking he is just fine.

It is too bad they do not have permission to do anything here. They are not supposed to even pick up. but we can not be critical of other sites , as I have learned over the past few years, that every one has different rules . We are fortunate to have Cilla and Scott , who are very keen. They just need some tools to work with.

at 8:50 am , I am seeing flying in trees toward back and then across road and then flying at front trees. am hoping it is our young ones . too hard to tape as I watch big screen and as soon as I press record, screen changes. will take a pcitre and pin point for you

a bit messy but some of what I was watching.

Image

I will remain optimistic becasue unless you are there 24/7 the first few weeks , it is too hard to see where they are flying to.

:1turkey: From Falcon Cam Site:
All together again

Published 25 November, 2015 | By Cilla Kinross
A late afternoon stroll in the park today revealed no less than five peregrines within easy reach of each other. The photos are not much chop, but I’m pretty sure Tardy is the one in the tree fork bottom left. One sister is centre top and the other is bottom right, partly hidden.
Pictures here - click bigger:
http://falconcamproject.org/

And the parents were not far away, keeping a watchful eye (and noisy scold). All three youngsters took to the wing for brief flights when I was photographing them, but they (the parents) didn’t budge.
I spent today going through the tapes since the last fledge and both parents have been visiting the box regularly, cleaning up some of the debris (Diamond took the galah head…) with Diamond over-nighting most nights. She even brought in some prey recently (pigeon), which seems a bit odd, but perhaps they will visit the box again fairly soon. Previous fledgelings have used the box once they start hunting.

So I guess we are all feeling a lot better.

well this has made my day, seeing all 3 juvies in that one tree, safe and sound. And they were flying around too, evidently.

:gobble:

And the parents looked so beautiful too. Just not really use to seeing everybody in the trees like that as we usually see them on roofs, ledges, rails, clinging to the side of buildings, or sadly, on the sidewalks.

Thanks for the pictures.

Thanks, Loza!
I thought I saw someone flying by when Bula was looking out - but after watching your video, it looks like I probably saw BUGS!

( :3turkey: HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE!)

:turkeyride: That is wonderful news about all 3 kids. I agree it's nice to see the youngsters in a more natural environment - the trees giving natural cover and lots of branches for practicing take-offs and landings, while the doorway to the nest looks like a great vantage point for Mom & Dad to keep tabs on them. Nice!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here!
