Well, she has a newer looking right leg purple USFW band, and in the pic it kinda looks like only a single black band on the left leg, black.
She likes to sit behind the pillar of course the opposite side from the cam.

Its no secret that I really hate change overs, especially when it involves a long time resident...I know its good for the health of the peregrine population, but still..

Having said that, at least we know Ivy....its always exciting to find out a fledgling has survived!!

If Ivy chooses to take on Erin beak to beak, I hope Erin uses wisdom to bow out gracefully like Freedom!!

Is Ivy the chick that was given to the couple whose eggs didn't hatch? I do remember watching her around fledge time.

Thanks, Carly. I just went back to the archived JC thread for 2014 to refresh my memory. Athena & Six didn't have any eggs that year so they were given 1 peregrine egg & later 2 chicken eggs to incubate. When the time was right, a chick approximately 10 days old was taken from the Ocean Gate, NJ nest & given to Athen & Six. That chick was later named Ivy. She was a big girl, even bigger than Athena.

I'm hoping for peace here like the rest of you. :wavingsnowgirl:
