I have doing our falocn watch since july13 so have had no time to check here. looks like a kid. It is last day today and then I can through their facebook etc , for news

cams must be off . I tired to check in today.

What a great year. Well I know Pa is off somewhere else, but 4 young who did well. We kept seeing them at night and on roof. The young male did a great job. This is what is all about.

Pa is a great male and he showed that when he came back and lay on the eggs for a bit , even though his territory was at risk. I will always think, he is out there. :5val:

And VV showed how tenacious she is. We very rarely get a glimpse of this kind of determination . We have seen many , but she stole my heart this year. :loveheart2:

]yes, it could have turned out so differently, and then I could not have watched , but we saw a miracle this season, just like the year S2 came in.

Thank you for your cams . And I do hope that those that loved Pa so will continue to support demortel. He did , after all, train VV to be who she is. Bravo Pa. O know we will see you again. :5val:

I am away but on route to Vancouver island , I was playing CD's and I came across ,one I had purchased , in 2007, the year S2 came on scene. It was music by Arnaund Van Beek to raise funds. It was beautiful and as I listened I remembered the whole season. What talent. each selection had peregrine sounds in it and each title portrayed the season. Just thought I would share that and thank Arnaund .

here is to another season soon. And here is to Ma and Pa and S2 . And now our VV and new man :5val:

As you probably have noticed, the webcams are off line. And in the first week of October the nestbox has been removed.
More antennas will be placed on the roof which will increase the (high) radiation levels even more, with more chance of interference on the webcams and maybe even health hazards for humans and falcons alike.
The box and webcams will be placed on the top ring on the east side (same side where the box was on the roof.
One webcam will stay on the roof so that eventual juveniles that use this spot as their playground can be observed.
Last Sunday Els v.d. Donk has reported both adults still at the tower, each on a lamp.
