here are the three today at various times

O.K. have not seen Black since this morning

yellow was beak fed during storm and then pulled what looked like part of gull in

Wish the others had been in there. I think it was yellow hanging aroudn by sorner of box. thought maybe black but she would have been in.

Can hear the thunder. I hate this

so we will wait till it quits raining, and then head down. We will give things a bit to dry and see who shows up.

We will just check to see what we can from ground and hope no one on ground. aside from that I cannot see roof

well we are back and saw 2 adults and the 3 kids
but I just got home and now 3 at box this is great 10:03pm

all had good crops. we saw mom feed yellow in storm, black was just in box and ate and had nice crop and then blue went into box and self fed. his crop looked good also( but have to check again)

our watch starts at U o f A tomorrow but we will try and keep tabs here also.
I have put everything in place there, with posters and we have talked to people in area around and they are all aware . Bin 104 is just across street and they have a box. We have our contact numbers posted and so I am hoping for a successful fledge season here.

I will make sure Peter takes a picture tomorrow morning. We will check as often as we can till U of A gets crazy.

we need rain but i am hoping big storms hold off , for at least a week .

my friend sent me a few pictures form Weber today

Yellow mantles a wing he stole from adult and then black comes in to see who will get the prize

we are expecting a storm and the wind has just picked up so I hope the kids are not flapping

I see 1 home with food but it needs to get down

3 in fornt of box tonight. Do not know why they do not go in side in rain. they will be drenched.

finally cam was going by 9 , I think.

Blue was rescued by Gord from ground yesterday. He was soaked . I wondered, when I only saw 2 yesterday and without cam could not see how many were there at dark. He appears uninjured and will go to Pembina.

peter checked at about 10am and 2 were flapping and helicoptering.

yellow and black were seen on roof of box today. Not sure if yellow fledged so will have to wait and see if we see 2 tonight.

I was too tired to go down there after my shift but will down at some point tomorrow

I am sure Gord will let the others stay here.

I know a lot do not agree with some of the decisons made about when they come to ground.

but they stand so much better a chance out there ,than here.

I personally would like to see them all stay and fledge successfully , but when you have picked up a few after they hit windows and buildings, it is tough.

If they are not injured , we always used to put them back, but Gord is afraid the urban areas are becoming a falcon trap. The adults do fine but so many of kids do not. He is really trying to get them back where they belong.

So hopefully yellow and black do well.

But I also am sad, to see blue go.
