:egg8: I believe one of Gwinnis' parents fledged from an Ohio nest, Toledo ?.... which is only a short distance away from Fremont.

:egg19: Hmmm If Voltaire was born at the East Lake Plant, that is where Tahoe was hatched also, in 2011. Remember Tahoe moved into the Bio Sci nest in Milwaukee until the resident female returned, and Tahoe ended up at the Milwaukee county nest in Milwaukee. - OK, and is Voltaire the male or female?
And by the way, Magic's older brother, Castor is living in the Kitchener-Waterloo area with his mate...
ps feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken...

:girlyes: Arent Juanita's charts just fascinating? So much information! But one thing I do notice from the chart is that Voltaire, and Tahoe(presently at Milwaukee county nestbox), have the very same parents : Starbrite and Jerry. Is Voltaire the male or the female?

alastair has worked really hard in last few years, with the northern peregrines. He and Gord are cohorts. I know him personally since my girls were small. I will be emailing him in next while.

He has always been a support in our peregrines in Edmonton . He was the falconer that rehabbed MIss Edmonton , when she was barley 2 years of age. He was also with Gord when they fostered "Hamish, male at Bell until this year, into a box on Sask Drive in Edmonton. So many wonderful stories about his adventures.

Thanks for posting this SGB. He is thrilled at this discovery. WE do not hear of our falcons very often as they can go to so many places that no one even records .

Way to go :snowflake4: :snowflake4:

Peregrine Falcon (Faucon pèlerin) in Kitchener

Last year a pair of Peregrine Falcons Falco peregrinus bred successfully on the Sun Life Financial tower in downtown Waterloo. This year due to maintenance on their roof, the company requested that the nest box be removed, and they were unwilling to have it reinstalled.
Fortunately, CKCO, the local CTV affiliate, located just a short distance from the Sun Life building, agreed to permit the Canadian Peregrine Foundation to install a new nest box on their communications antenna. Two years earlier peregrines had bred there, and already this year a pair was showing interest in this location.
The nest box which had been taken down from the Sun Life building was too big to to be installed on the CTV tower, so a new box had to be built. Waterloo Region Nature, of which I am president, donated the funds for the construction materials, and the the custom box was built by Mark Nash of the Canadian Peregrine Foundation.

thanks SGB.

I hope they take their time. his injuries were like the ones our male received , the summer before Chasee. Gord rehabbed him and he was able o t go to migration inOct of that year.

do not wan t him released during nesting season as he will go straight back there.
