I have watched wind whistler forever. I remember the year he was two timing Wind and she laid one clutch, left it and then laid another egg and it hatched. I remember , through emails, conversing with Mark, and he snuck up food for Wind so she could continue to brood and successfully fledge a young one. You probably remember this also CArly. I used to watch Toronto Sheraton and KIng faithfully before I got too involved in Edmonton sites. But I always kept checking in at the sites to make sure all was well.

I remember when Wind was replaced by Rhea Mea and then turned up a year later at MT Sinah. I was so happy .

I pray Wind Whistler is O.K. but I also know, with a big lump in my throat, that is what happens.
I feel like Tracy does, and know how attached we become, even though we try not too.

Will keep checking for news.

Sorry to hear that Windwhistler is missing, but glad that Stormin has been found. I guess this will be his nest now. I hope that Windwhistler is sitting out his old age somewhere safe and comfortable.

I don't expect that after close to 15 years, WW will give up his mate and site without a fight. He knows the ins and outs of that territory like the back of his talon. All we can do is watch and hope for the best but we certainly know they don't give up their homes easily after all that time.

True...hopefully everyone comes out of this alive...I always have to go back to Freedom. Of course, we didn't know it at the time, but she must have chosen wisely and went on her way, knowing she had no chance against a younger, stronger female..If it comes to that, I hope WW does the same..

Nice catch there, Beth! I will always remember those pictures someone took of Stormin and Haven huddling together by a (vent?) on very cold day in Toronto. Stormin had kind of laid his head on Haven's chest.........
