:shamrock5: Just a little update. C&C paid a visit to the Terminal Tower. Both Lady Millar and Stacker are still there! Great pics are posted on C&C's Ohio Peregrine Page on facebook. We'll see if these two have eggs again this year. Last year, they had two chicks and both successfully fledged.

C & C saw 4 chicks on May 17, just a few days old, and on May 22 they could confirm that the fifth egg had hatched also. So a full house here.
Their Facebook page with lots of great pictures and video's, from the Terminal Tower and the Clinic site as well:

All doing well at the Terminal Tower with 5 chicks right down to the youngest baby of the bunch. Here are some recent pics by C&C. Chris always gets such beautiful pictures. Courtesy of C&C's Ohio Peregrine Page on Facebook.

Here are 4 of the kids and you can see the nice pin feathers.

Lady Millar (Mom) feeding.

Here's a pic of all 5 kids. You can just see part of one chick on the far right of the image. The last hatch is the smallest with a nice big crop. Parents are doing a great job here.

Last but not least, here's baby!

Thank you Chris for the awesome pictures and for checking on this brood! :egg19:

Not good news.

From C & C's FB page....Stacker was picked up today.

TT's Stacker Downed, Taken to LENSC (3-5-18):

We received word tonight that Tim from LENSC (Lake Erie Nature and Science Center) got a call from a man who picked up what he thought was a hawk in Cleveland today. The man described a docile bird in hand that was unable to fly. He reported that the bird was banded, and then he sent pics to Tim showing the bands and Tim then checked with us… it’s 88/B, black/red, “Stacker”, the resident male from the Terminal Tower site. Janice, one of the ultra-experienced and super-dependable animal rescue volunteers for LENSC picked Stacker up from the man and he will be cared for at LENSC in the morning.
As we just posted, Stacker and Lady Millar were going through all of the bonding processes on our latest check on Wednesday, including mating on the nest ledge. We know that there has been some interaction among pairs and we’ve seen less of Wingbeat and Keystone around the nearby Heritage Park site lately, so although we can’t assume they are implicated in Stacker coming down it’s a possibility that they could be vying for the TT site. We’re checking the sites tomorrow and will post updates as we know more.

Here are two pics that Tim was kind enough to share with us: a cell pic of his leg bands sent by the man who picked him up and Stacker in the carrier when Janice got him…

:girlyes: Here’s hoping Stacker can recover quickly... He is a full brother (different years) to Tahoe, resident female at the nestbox at Milwaukee Regional Medical Center...Thank you for posting this, SGB...

I just read C & C's FB page. It looks like Stacker has a break...sad...probably means he won't be back for the season...

In an odd twist of fate, Stacker's brother Stacks is now courting Lady Millar. Stacks was Lady Millar's old mate from the past. They appear to be together once again. I often wondered how he fared after Lady Millar took over the TT. There are a number of males in the area jockeying for position. So, we'll see how this all shakes out. Latest update by CC is that Stacker is doing well in his recovery so far.
