| Wonderful news! I did notice both of them looking above and taking off as if intruder still there just a little bit ago. They both returned. And there was alarm calling before they left. Stay safe Audrey and Calico Tom! Hoping the intruder leaves to find another mate ...

Audrey was not seen on the nest all day yesterday. The last time she was seen on the nest was Saturday (4-3-16) eve during the windstorm. (FB posters agree) 9:19am A strange osprey (female?) arrived on the nest approx. 9:10am. Picture too fuzzy to post - now 2 osprey on nest. This osprey (female?) resembles the one that was seen with Audrey earlier (with the dark triangular mark above beak). 9:21am the second osprey is trying to push "dark eyes" away - kind of 'winging' it... "Dark eyes" is chirping... |

Posted on blog by Mrs. COM (10:37am): Good morning, everyone. I left for work before the sun was up and COM is not home. I last saw Audrey yesterday afternoon sitting with Tom on the riprap (large stones along the waterfront) and sitting very low in the scraggly stick tree. I should be home around four this afternoon and will look for her. I have some photos from yesterday for the next blog which should be published in the next couple of days. Keep your eyes on the camera and let me know what you see, I will not be able to watch the camera during the day while working. Mrs. COM |
