Oh awesome, so glad the Union County cam got up and running before hatch!! Watch for the female's bands; the female that had been there up until last year was there since 2005 or 2006 and is/was Athena's daughter from 2003, G/S, black over red and I think the S was sideways. Don't know if she is still there this year.

Oops, should've checked their site before my last post:
"Earlier this year a new female took up residence in the nest. Leg bands indicate that she was born in a nest located at Throgs Neck Bridge in New York City in 2010."

Ah well, at least Athena's daughter had a long reign just like her mom, and I know at least 2 of the "grandkids" have gone on to successfully nest elsewhere (one is in Southeast PA and another is at 55 Water St in NYC as of last year). :dancingegg:

It doesn't look promising Beth! The baby is on it's back. I only see the backside of mom and she seems to be quivering. I thought I saw some movement in the baby but I can't be sure! So sad........
