 First fledgling MARTIN hopped off the nest box this morning at 8.00, landed after some meters down on the church`s roof near web cam 3 (to the left of the bell). Now he sits there since 8 hrs waiting for food. Let`s hope he will be airborne again tomorrow driven by hunger... |

First tiercel MARTIN left home Friday, may 27th, 8 a.m, and started for second flight from the church`s roof (near Sterbeglöckchen-cam 3) Saturday, may 2th at 2 p.m, due to his hunger, after having watched his parents flying his parents with prey many times over him to the nest box above or as a provocation... He reached without difficulty the roof of the Jesuitenkirche in 200 mtrs distance. Now flying like an adult... Second tiercel CAFFE started Monday, 30th may, at 10 a.m. after a very hard raining period the night before (streets flooded). We saw him sitting in the morning in front of the nest box in a hard rain but he flew away without difficulties. Female CUDA started today, may 31st at 6.30 a.m. without difficulties. Funny: one hour later mother PALATINA entered the empty nest box to have a long breakfast without noisy chicks mobbing her...
