  HELLOOO!!! Waiting patiently for Miss Radisson to return and get this show on the road! Have some new camera equipment this year...finally got my super big telephoto - have an appointment tomorrow at the hospital so going to go test out what kind of shots I can get of the nest box...should be able to get pretty close! :)

Haha Bev. I have running shoes, I hope we will be better by July...Mike and I got into a car accident on Feb. 16 (We were run off the road, car coming straight towards us in our lane) I've got whiplash, Mike has a messed up knee. Both of us are in Physio 3x a week - so hopefully should have a little less pain and a little more movement soon! Went to U of A and Weber today. No signs yet, but going to keep looking! :) |

you are as bad as Peter and I. Peter recovering form knee replacement and i fell in Mexico so we are also both in physio  they better be slow falcons this year

Well we were at UofA again for awhile yesterday (Sunday) - nothing yet. :( Fingers crossed, will check again at Weber and the Uni this evening. Am I looking too soon Bev? When does she usually return, I thought it was around now...but, the weather has been so off this year... |

I am supposed to be off cams for another day but I see KF has seen Bell up. It is in off season cams.  How nice to be able to view all year round .  We can see them when they first return and when they leave. and you never know in between ,what you will see. I must remember to thank them. hopefully the cams will run smoothly this year as we missed so much last season, as they did return with at least one of their young after the young fledged. we observed them from the ground . So this morning we have 2 falcons. One has to be Big Red as he has a red band and has all same behaviors. of course, until band can be ID , I say this with caution. H e was in and out at least 7 times this morning. He is either excited to get femlae in , or someone else out there. Time will tell. When he was in box , we saw one on ledge . looking forward to sound also. I will post video and pictures later tonight as I am swamped right now

U of A They can be back anytime now Trish. Peter and I will try and make it done in next few days. With Physio and the gym, to get him up and running for falocn season  , we have not many hours. If we see one in turn in spot at U of A , then we know a resident one has returned. It is cold now with the snow , but I will chauffeur . and we will do what we can let us know what you see. |

YEAY!! Good to see someone back! We've been going at least once every 48 hours or so, we are going to try for early morning (sunrise) tomorrow and see if we have any more luck. No one turning in at any of the usual spots yet - been checking for Rad - pretty much everywhere...she likes hanging out on around the "Suite Hotel" this time of year - before the show gets started right? No signs on the ground (did a bit of a walk around the Maz and Clinical) of any pigeon parts yet. lol. Between us being there every day or so, Marg and Jean - wouldn't go out of your way to get down there...one of us is bound to see something and report back ASAP. I'm super excited this year! Please let me know if there is anything we can do Bev...as far as helping before season gets going. With us being in the accident, nothing but time on our hands these days! lol :) Trish

thanks Trish. we will be able to use help. Jean is in England till end of first week in April. I will test Marge, to keep her eye out. As soon as Peter is able , I will look at all the stuff and have a meeting with some of you , who are willing to do a bit for start of season. If RAdisson or Chase are home they will be in their turn in spots at night. When in doubt, that is where we check, just before dark. you may find RAdisson on top of college plaza also. fingers crossed. Take care of yourselves. You can phone me at any time Bev |

I can't even be sick for a few days. And I miss everything. I have been watching Genesse camera and waiting. For all of you that are hurt .. GET BETTER SOON. Peter we need your dancing and running shoes on. Bev, holidays are painful. Trish and Mike sorry about your car accident, I hope you feel better soon, and it does not effect you your whole life.
