Feed in progress, but I can't catch her placing the food she is tearing into the mouth of the chick d/t partially blocked view! Chick is raising head though.

Feed in progress! No pip seen this view. Gigi, last night the weatherman said the most wind damage was in Vincennes going toward Petersburg. So they did get the higher winds here that I was talking about yesterday.

Could be. Here in Indy we only get a generalized weather report for areas outside our metro area. My daughter is in Cincinnati so I look at the maps to the south. It is always good when that is all I get on an area. More news usually is not good news. The nest looks like it could use some tidying up! Like my house!!!

Momma is off the chick at Petersburg...I hope it’s warmer there than it is here.... baby doesn’t seem to be moving around much, but I find the cam makes it hard for me to “ read” the nestbox activities...She’s gone back with the chick now. I can see the little guy peeping while he lays on his tummy in the gravel. I wonder if dad is overdue with a food delivery? OK - I think there was a duty change while I was editing...Looks like dad is on the chick now :biggrin:

Not very warm. Now it’s 47 and maybe it was a little warmer earlier. She’s brooding now. Maybe #2 will hatch soon.

Came in on a probable feed by Mom. She left with the remains of the prey and could only catch looks at slivers of the egg. Directly Mac comes to the porch and stands, but still unable to tell much of the egg as chick likes to stick close to it. Mac down to brood and incubate, but just as he settled he goes back to the porch ... looking for Mom? This time I was able to catch better glimpses of the egg and no pips seen this view. Mac came back down eventually and got all lined up and he is currently on duty!

Seeing vocals, so maybe nest exchange soon. But was off egg when I saw a possible pip, so possibly was a nest exchange at that time and now may be too soon for another. Notice vocals at intervals continue at 2:13.
