And she must of snatched that chick and put it back in its proper place while I was posting above! Wish I could've seen it. The chicks are all in a bundle and Mom is standing over the egg. Moms don't put up with any nonsense!! Glad that is over.

I zoomed on the egg...its a little concerning..so, fingers crossed. Hoping its just the weird angle of the cam.

Great captures and laughing at Dad watching the rescue! No that part of the egg I did not see all of till your capture. But last night on 1 side of the egg near the pip it looked as if there were multiple fine cracks going haphazardly and I was concerned that side of the egg would be compressed inward by morning. The lighting was just not good enough to be sure. I did not notice any compression though this morning. That looks a little yucky.

Yep...that egg/hatch does not look good...but, we'll see...

I don't know if its the same chick, but he/she does not want to be with the group. Almost out of cam view at the bottom.

Forgot this one of Dad...he came back in the box after this...I think Mom gave him the stink eye..

Alone for now, maybe about to be fed or just have been. Dad probably nearby out of cam view. No changes in the egg. It's the clean side up for now.

The 3 chicks are huddled against the wall. Mom is down in the nest. The egg sits off by itself.

No matter how many times I refresh the cam, I am only seeing 2 chicks in the pile with varying positions. The 3rd one seemed tiny compared to the 2 from angles seen previous. Hoping it is just out of view against the wall not seen. Will keep checking back for it.

Yay! Just saw the 3rd chick and all is well! And it certainly doesn't look tiny from this angle!!

Love when I can see all 3. They are lined up and laid out in a row awaiting a parents return.

All 3 are piled together in the left front, corner. There is no color on the cam. Forecast is partly cloudy, don't know if something is wrong with the cam or if a storm is coming.

The cam is in color again. Can see all 3 chicks and a parent way out on the rail preening.
