Female – 2021 - C/17(b/r) 2014 hatch from Washington Univ. Med School, St. Louis. Previous Unbanded. 2019; b/g, purple band. Never got a good look at it.
Male -Mack, *V/*X [we think]
John Castrale's report from 2012:
"2012- A plant worker checked a nest box (installed in fall 2004) on 3/24 and flushed an adult off three eggs. On 4/2, three eggs were unattended with an adult male perched on a nearby smokestack. Still 3 eggs on 4/9 with both adults observed away from box. Three cold eggs collected from nest on 4/24; no adults observed. Distant camera revealed multiple daily visits by the adults to the nest box through mid-May. Jim Verley monitored and provided access to this site."
No Known activity in 2013.

Petersburg IN is in southwestern Indiana on the White River. Located north and between Evansville, IN and Louisville, KY. Here are 2 pictures of the area.

Have tried to get the cam for a couple days here, but unable to do so. Am wondering with the drastic changes coming to this facility if we'll have a cam any longer. Sent them a msg to find out, but immediately got an automated response that recommends you call them, so may not hear back from them.

Still no cam here and did not receive a response from AES. Really concerned we may no longer have a cam view for the falcons.

Thanks T! And a banded falcon is on the ledge with a purple band!

Edit to add:

I watched this falcon for quite some time and it went into the scrape and dug in the bowl. While there I never was able to see what color combination the other bands were and the purple looking band did not look as purplish as it had while on the ledge, so don't know if actually purple or a dirty silver. When this falcon went back to the ledge where it spent some time. I noticed it looked upward toward the sky and it hunched down with it's beak open as you would expect to see when they are seeing and talking to another falcon doing a flyby, so I really think we have 2 here even though I did not see the 2nd one. The "previous topic" took me to Harding, so I will head to the archives to see if last year's had a purple band or not. I noticed not last years, but a previous female had a purple band in the info above.

Went back all the way to 2018 looking through the archives and was unable to locate this nest. Was hoping to find a pic to see if the female here last season had a purple band or what at least looked purplish to me.
