Yes, gigi said they will be banding here and Indy this coming week. But, I think she said she will not get the report until he has completed banding all the falcons. I keep watching for them to get up on the porch, but haven't seen that yet. Maybe too early. But, right now I can only see 1 in full view and a tiny part of another in the bottom, left, corner. They are so big, you'd think you could see at least a part of the other 2.

:teehee: They must have heard you talking about wishing they would be out in the open more. Right now they are all gathered in the far corner. I hope they wash the cam lens, too. They are sure a bunch of little sharp shooters

Maltese just brought in lunch. My goodness there are a couple piggies here! One eyas never came close enough to get a bite. maybe the heat is affecting there appetite? I was fretting over a non- eater at Fort Wayne, but perhaps I don’t need to....Any word about banding?

John and Allisyn traveling to South Bend tomorrow to band the chicks. I don't know the time.

Their bands will be Black over Blue and I will get genders and names later.

Thanks, MISue! He's hanging out in the left, upper, corner right now. Saw 1 of the girls cast a pellet onto the porch and then stare at it. He's still taking a PS right in the nest, but the same girl backed up to the porch and took hers that actually cleared it.

Was able to see all 4 on the DVR earlier this morning after daylight. Caught a feeding about 7 1/2 hours ago that would place it at 3:00 am EDT! It was Maltese bringing in a bird that 3 of the chicks participated in. During the feed you can see Peace come in on the porch with a small hunk of food in his beak that there were no takers for and eventually he backs out and out of sight! :flirty:

:hithere: Hi SWINWK- I was watching the South Bend Gang milling around their nest box and ledge area. They are very active hopping up to and off the ledge with ease. I see lots of wing stretching and flapping, too. They haven’t set names to the bands yet, have they?

I saw John this morning but forgot to ask him. I think he is finished banding at all the nests so he should be sending a report.
