Didn't take long for them to all want to see that big world from their perch. Richard now thinks they will fledge this weekend. Saturday we have the Indy 500 Festival Parade Downtown and then Sunday the race. I hope they stay put until Monday. Those little stinkers!!!

That really makes me nervous when there are a number of chicks on a ledge. I always worry that one is going to start flapping, lose its balance, & either fall or knock a sibling off! :shock:

They just don't look like they are ready to fledge...they still look too fluffy!!!

I can't believe all 4 up there. This weekend seems soon, especially for the girls. I hope they wait since you have those big events downtown.

there is a ledge that they would fall into. Kind of like a little trench. And if they absolutely do fall, they usually land on a balcony on the 29th floor. They are really in a great place as far a damage control.

I hope they will wait until at least next Tuesday before fledging. We have the Indy 500 this weekend and downtown will be absolutely crazy until Monday. And Geneva, she is one BIG girl!

Oh No!!! :o Well, I'm glad you found him, SGB, and that he is safe.

Here's the report from the blog:

Peregrine Patrol folks report one of the youngsters out on the ledge about 6:45 this morning, moving down the ledge to stanchion one and of course, flapping!

The 500 Parade is today, so this would be a bad day for a juvie to fledge with all the thousands of people downtown.
