Update on Cams :gaaaaah:

"We are still trying to get the cams working.
Channing and I went to Market Tower last Friday, but we could not charm the cams into working.
I’ve been out sick most of the week. Two IT guys will go over to Market Tower with me on Monday. Having people who know what they are doing should make a difference."

:holsad: Hi- I was just looking on the blog, from December 3, and it sounded as though they were working on fixing the cam issues.... so they were just "blowing smoke"?...

It seems to be a low priority with IndyStar. Every time our contact schedules a tech visit to Market Tower, his IT people are pulled to other projects. The DNR team is trying to figure something out since they still want to monitor this nest. If I hear of anything, I will let you know.

Not all the blame lies with the Star. Market Tower has imposed all kinds of access restrictions. The last time I returned a bird to the 31st floor, I had to have a DNR employee with me. Not that that was horrible, but just another impediment. Most of the Peregrine Patrol is pretty disheartened and frustrated. I just hate not knowing if KathyQ and Sesenta are still on the scene. At one time someone saw 2 peregrines with no signs of aggression. Every time I go downtown, I try to check out the box from the ground, but I haven't been too lucky.

Yes, I worry about Kathy Q and Sesenta too. I think you could say she is an "elderly" peregrine....
