I just saw a comment from some guy, and just had to reply.

Amazing the amount of time and money that goes into caring for these worthless creatures which do nothing but kill small innocent animals. The Indiana Dept of Natural Resources and the St. Joe County Humane Society refused to help when called to move a mother duck and 8 ducklings from a dangerous situation yet they "baby" these "Killer Creatures". Need to stop funding these programs !!!

They don't kill innocent animals, they eat only birds and mainly pigeons, so you need to get your information right before typing. Hold both your hands up, then think left hand Falcons, right hand pigeon and pigeon poop everywhere. Which would you rather have? Oh come on its a no brainer.

Good for you, KF...I generally don't bother (I don't like that I have to register first)...but I do love giving the "thumbs down" to crazy comments like that..if it lets me..

The little one is so cute, she is laying down asleep on the ledge :zzzzz

( but not too close to the edge.) I can see her breathing. She looks tired from all that brain activity. There is a lot to watch from the ledge ! No recent ground reports because I keep going by the building but I very rarely see anyone, but I am probably going at the wrong times. ( I don't have so much free time at the moment, so I go when I can. )

A few days ago, I saw her in the nest box, toward the front, partially off-cam, and boy was she excited. Flapping and squawking and walking back and forth in the box. I think she had food and was playing I'm a Carnivore ! :yip

I notice that she is often awake in the middle of the night. I was actually on-line and watching at the time of kittenface's last cam picture. One of the parents was on the ledge around 1:30. I often see a parent sitting there in the evening and also the middle of the night. Maybe they want little Clementine to get extra falcon company since she is an only child. We don't want her imprinting on the nest box wall, an airplane, or, heaven forbid, a pigeon ! :eek:

She frequently sat in this position in the nestbox when she was younger.
Guess she won't be looking young and vulnerable much longer ...
