Bird Cams Around the World

Looks like Indystar.com has undergone a major renovation but in the process they have screwed up the blog and the ability to get to the cameras (or maybe this is a sneaky way of getting rid of it all). Old bookmarks don't work, I can't get into the blog software and even going to Indypaws.com and clicking on the cameras goes nowhere. I've notified them.

They will look at it and get it fixed but it may be a day or two - probably not a priority - I'm sure they have other issues with the redesign that are higher up.

Thanks Gigi, I was wondering why the cam wouldn't come up.

I am so mad at myself. I actually had the site up from last night, but closed it before reading my email. Grrrrr! At 9:15 this morning no action on either cam.

I forgot about Paul's page, I can get that.

Oh happy day! The cams are clean now!

Laura's report on the cam clean up:
I saw Amy and John today at the Hoosier Outdoor Experience and talked with them a little bit about the cam and box cleanup. They clearly id'd Kinney (he was in the box when they got out to it) and definitely saw a b/r with a C on the other birds band so we are confident of the two Ks still there. I know we have seen them in the box but it just helps to confirm our sightings too.

Amy said there were 3 nice sized scrapes in the box and that John told her that the change to the autumn season and the light thing may mimic the springtime and get them a little "broody" (to your point Barb in WL). Amy said both adults swooped at her (kind of a suprise she said) but nothing too serious.

Gravel was replaced and swept out - she had the contents of the remains of the box with her in the car (I didn't look at it) but mostly cardinals, flickers, bluejays from what they could see.

Amy said it was a spider web (sort of a sack really she said) on the overhead camera and it was really little - less than 1/2 inch long so the camera sort of distorted it and made it look like the blob from outer space.

Not sure what is going on. I cannot get onto the cams. I have tried the regular links, the cached links and Little Birdie HOme preview panel, and am only getting archives of the blog. Anyone else having this problem??? I will email Laura to see if she has any inside scoop and report back.
