Good news! We WILL be going to Indy! We just decided an hour ago LOL Now I need to find a hotel. Gigi I still have that wonderful map you made me, I will take a look at that.

EDIT: GRRRR I am having problems posting pictures. They are posted at Coriena's forum, hopefully you can see them there. I will try again later. I will also post them at the BCAW page at Facebook. http://www.slechtvalkenliefde.com/t489p ... 013#100549 We had a wonderful time in Indianapolis!!!! It was a beautiful day as you can see from the pictures. We met Susan and Laura by the Starbucks (they were easy to spot all decked out in their Peregrine Hats, t-shirts, and binoculars  ). We were lucky and one of the peregrines was in the nest box so we watched for a bit. It was Will that was there and Kathy showed up for a bit and they were together in the nest box, then Kathy flew off.Later Sylvia joined us and Susan, Harold and I decided to go up in the monument to get a closer look at the nest box and enjoy the spectacular views of Indianapolis. We got lucky and Kathy showed up and they flew together for a bit before disappearing behind a building. We joined Laura and Sylvia at the Starbucks and had some coffee and enjoyed sharing bird stories. We had a fantastic time!!! Thanks ladies, next time Gigi will be there!! |

Sorry I missed your visit Suzanne, but it sounds like you and Harold had a wonderful time. Many of you remember the television segment earlier on Pet Pals TV featuring Laura and our peregrines. Here is another interview with an update and Suzanne, your visit is mentioned at the end!  Also on a more serious note: our falcon mentor and teacher, Richard, is in the hospital. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. |
