At 11:59 Mr. Tiercel visited off cam, and they had an enthusiastic chupfest and bowing session. Suddenly he flew off and she hopped into the nest area, pacing backand forth, moving pebbles, and I believe scraping (it is dark there). Well, Mr. Tiercel returned and Guinevere leaped up to the edge of the box, stepped out onto the perch, and began to turn around, at which time she was no longer on the cam....

I sure cannot see if there is an egg. Don't think so, but she might be close since she has been in this position for quite a while.

Just tried it for you and all I get is a black screen.

I haven't been able to load it all morning. She really looked like she might have been close to laying an egg yesterday afternoon...

Guenevire is there now, sitting quite close to the cam so I cannot see her head or tail. Message is still there?

My guess is that the message will be there until someone from IT does the upgrade. At least it is not in egg laying territory!

Hmm... I've just discovered something. Guinevere just came in to her nest. She jumped down into the box area, and disappeared! I thot at first she had flown, but then I saw her scurrying around in the side nearest the cam. When she is very close to the "near" side, you cant see her! What if she makes her scrape there?

Could your tech guy provide you with archives for today to see if you can catch her ducking down into the box?

Oh, I don't have a tech guy to ask Tsusan. One time I called a rehabber in the area about another cam problem, and she really did not have the time or inclination to help me.

I was looking at the rocks in the box, and there isn't really a good scrape defined so it wouldn't surprise me if something is going on where we cannot see.

that was a problem last year too. It mainly became an issue when the chicks started becoming mobil..we always thought we were missing chicks...
