I am not sure who it is. Usually before she lays an egg, she sits almost trancelike beforehand. Just hope this old girl is still fertile! :loveheart2:

Laura was downtown yesterday. Saw Sesenta doing some hunting right overhead [he missed], but nothing else of note. I just wonder if KQ is still fertile... Usually before egg laying she spends a lot of time in the box in a trance like position and I just have not seen that this year.

Well, just from past years when she has laid eggs that did not hatch, it was determined that they were infertile. This was determined when eggs were removed while banding chicks. So, the uneducated, anecdotal answer is yes, but I would think that if she is totally infertile, then she might not have the hormonal drive... Again, a guess.
