Mom just stopped in for a visit, staying up on the ledge. Two babies were right there, I think they were hoping for a snack. The other Wo were sleeping. Mom left and the 2 up front made so much noise the sleepers woke up. No everyone is waiting for mom to come back...

They have been banded today: 2 females, 2 males. They have new colour bands, black over blue. Two chicks (my guess is the females) have the black over red bands, I think D over 88 and D over 89.
That could mean the boys have the black over blue bands. possibly with the codes 00 over M and 01 over M.
All this is based on what I could see in the pictures on Facebook

, especially one where a string with all the bands is shown :wink:

As DEF said, IPL Harding Street banded today. I will confirm band numbers when I get John's report. Names will be forthcoming from IPL employees.

Hi - I was just wondering that if the camera was aimed higher - more at the ledge level, would we possibly catch sight of a peregrine more easily?

Flash has been hanging around his nestbox several minutes- not moving around, just looking and looking.... I even took a couple screenshots with my iPad... Wow half hour later and he is still there! He has been staring at the cam a lot. At one point. Tho, he turned to the back of his nest and had his head down.next refresh he was looking back toward the perch like Lady was there. Then he scraped around a bit and got back up. Ok- Flash has finally left the house! It was nice to see him!
