I check on her sister Erin's site daily as well as I know the winds of change will blow through here someday. It's still so fascinating to me that 2 sisters from the same nest, born in the same year have had almost identical lives. Both have held their sites for a very long time, have had a long time dedicated mate, have produced many many offspring and are now partnered with, son in KathyQ's case and grandson in Erin's case. That both have lived to see 18 years in the wild is absolutely amazing .

It will be a sad day when the 'girls' are done from us but they've given us so much to be thankful for.

I hear you, Carly. The girls have had amazing lives. I just hope they go out peacefully when their times come.

We are having horrible storms and tornado warnings here in Indianapolis. I was at the movies and the theater was evacuated and we all were instructed to go to Nordstrom away from doors and glass and wait it out there. On my drive home I was diverted because the street leading to my house was completely flooded but I am home safe with my kitties and my dog.
