oh my gosh, there's a chick on the ledge, .....walking around, ....looking, walking, ....now sitting..... not too close to the edge, ............ Ok, now it's back in the nest ...... WHEW ! :shock:

One other chick sleeping, if I didn't know about food comas, I'd be concerned.

Gosh, I hadn't paid any attention to the rest of the South Bend Cam page, but it now has a wealth of information.

It starts with a timeline beginning in 2003 when Zephyr and Guinevere first arrived on the scene. Scrolling to the right, the timeline takes you through the nest box installation, the first camera, and other notable events. Gee, has it really been 5 years since we lost Zephyr....

Once you go through the timeline, scroll down to find fabulous falcon facts, ending with what to do if you find a falcon down. It is awesome. Hopefully I can find someone to thank!

Doing a little research, I discovered the talented student of the South Bend Code School created the webpage.

The cam is looking a bit blurry today, weather is warm and dry, so it can't be precipitation. One juvie standing up in the nest box, looking out at the world and swaying slightly back and forth. One juvie sleeping flat on the ledge, the wind gently ruffling the last bits of remaining white fluff. These guys are growing up so fast ..........

1:50 pm Adult and juvie, on the ledge, looking out at the world. So much to teach the young ones, but not yet, not quite yet. Innocence and experience.

3:16 p.m. now two juvies are sitting right next to each other, just looking out and waiting .......

Just saw Maltese on the porch looking down on one of her juvies! I believe she has lost a little weight, but looking good!
