Zephyr just came on eggs, I was so excited to see him, I forgot to save a pic of the eggs. All are still intact at 2:25pm.

We had a territorial battle in Rochester yesterday. Beauty, our female hooked up with her own niece Unity for territory. Unity's mate and Beauty's mate are the same fella: Archer. Unity's nest is about 5 miles from Rochester, she was out of her territory and swooped into Beauty's. This all happened at the old nest site of Mariah & Kaver, Kodak Tower. Archer & beauty are the 2 that beat up Mariah and put her in rehab a few years back. Both are fine and are back at their own nests incubating eggs. Good grief, what next?

Thanks Donna....this battle between Beauty and Unity could not have been good for either one of them....and to compound the issue...I am seeing NO pipping in the Rochester eggs...

Exactly SGB, suppose to be this week. Just have to wait and see.

Still watching Z on eggs, saw his bad leg before. Poor guy. He moves around in the nest OK. Just caught this pic.

She's not sharing very much...I've had the recorder on the cam almost all morning and this is the most I"ve seen (2 eggs and a chick)...I haven't seen Zephyr either..I'm guessing he met the baby this morning when he brought breakfast..

Earlier Laura captured this picture of a nice sized pip. #2 cannot be far behind!

Right now I am looking at the nest and there is something that looks like it could be part of a discarded shell, but I think I will need to wait for daylight to see better.
