lstaudt_AEF: Morning Update: Juliet was on the nest early (6:15a) joined by Romeo ten minutes later.
Juliet brought in another whopper of a stick at 7a.
After some time away,
Juliet flew in with Romeo right behind her (9:24a) delivering J a squirrel for breakfast.

Egg Watch???
"Is the egg laying clock ticking? With Romeo & Juliet mating multiple times a day and the nest is near ready it sure seems the clock is ticking. Romeo bringing Juliet food gifts and Juliet even gave the nest a "test run" early this morning. Last year we had eggs on the 16th & 19th - in years previous they were earlier layings so I'd venture to say we are on countdown - but as we know we are on "Eagle Time" and only they know for sure. Stayed tuned!"

Hamlet Update:
The day started with nest testing, fluff delivery and mating at 7:22a.
J perched most of the a.m.
Romeo returned around 12:30 and dug up old squirrel partz.
Deciding that wasn't good enough he brought in huge flounder at 12:49.
He left 1/2 on the nest - Juliet returned at 1:38 and had her meal.
R returned and Juliet joined him on the branch (2p) with vocals.
Nice conversation between R & J this afternoon
