Thanks for the updates Bev. I like this nest, but don't get to check in as often as I would like. Here's a pic from 8:21 pm today. One baby B in the nest and the other on a branch on the far right.

has not fledged yet. thought it did but it is in top of tree. we will not see it take off

for a moment today we thought one had fledged but it floated to top of tree and later floated down. The other one felt the wind under it s wings also


ther is a bit of dead space but I did nto want to miss it coming down. not as graceful as it went up LOL

Nice video, Bev. Wow...these two really look like they are ready to go. Can't believe it's that time already. Bev, are you anywhere near those fires. Been thinking about you.

we are quite a bit south but my godson, is a paramedic and a fire captain there and he has been going non stop. On Sat , was his first break since last Sunday. H e and his wife are just exhausted, but some other firemen are now there and so they can get some sleep. They are still trying to put fires out in town.

It is just a tragedy. I know that a lot of people elsewhere have gone through this but this is such a big one.

the one who flew, came back to nest later and left again today and sibling not long after
