I have not had time to do photos but have been watching daily. so far so good. Mom has spent the night a few times and laid in the bowl. Dad loves to pretend he is incubating during the day. LOl Despite the huge sticks nest is looking great.

there have been quite a few sub adutls and juveniles in area. maybe same ones each time, but hopefully, do not pose a problem.

We do get snow~just not much..but, they have totally underestimated this system...which is funny...its always gloom and doom when they start talking about "snow" in the metro Atlanta area... :6xmas:

Its now on top of me (YAY)...which isn't good, though...I have my Christmas concert tonight...LOL...

I think the snow has shifted Cam 1

Yikes! Look at that snow! I just checked the map and it is a big storm. It's snowing as far south as Louisiana. Ack! A blast of arctic air from our Canadian neighbors.....thanks Bev. :teehee: Get those woolies out. Drive safe SGB.

Busy working on the nest this morning (and messing up the beautiful snow)...Mom's leg really looks wonky, but she appears to be putting full weight on it.

had an assertive subadult at nest around 5pm. stole dads snack and stayed quite awhile. hope mom is O.k.

this subadult, ate dads snack, arranged sticks and made a mess, and stuck around for quite awhile. when i went on same branch as dad he flew off. She even had PS in nest.

only had time to do short video of it coming in. dad came in with fish and my video starts with dad arranging sticks and a fly by.

will try and past a few pciutres if I can but I do not think I will have time

Dad has a sore foot also. he got in on Wednesday. so they do nto need any sub adults to chase off.

I have so much to share but have not had time. promise photos today. i know I keep saying that but I will.
mom was on nest last night. she has been on during night several times but this is the first in about a week. Dad has bringing her food to nest. They have been seen copulating. gorgeous pciutres taken from ground crew.

some are worried about this pair but fear not. dad brought in huge sticks last few days. He may have a small limp but he is doing fine. and mom will always have that wonky leg now, but she is strong and well

here is a video form today of big stick dad brought in and then deciding where to place another. He is a hoot to watch

i is not as cold there as at my place -31C . we are in a deep freeze. not even our gas fireplace will start. not moving too far that is for sure LOL
