I have quite a few pictures form today so here is slideshow of them. one nearly fell out backwards after a tug a war over food :egg14:

and adults are really being mobbed . mom nearly lost her foot today as kids grabbed for the fish. she really struggled to get away. they will be branching in no time already on th e bottom of that bottom branch

The Berry kids are regularly perching on the rails and holding tight while wingercising. They are going to be up in the branches of this tree before we know it.

Both in the nest right now with Dad. One if self-feeding (on the left) and Dad is picking on some bones.

There is no indication of a fledge, either on their website or Facebook. They are branching, so it is possible one of the eaglets was up on a branch off-cam when Sally was watching.

Post subject:  Re: Berry College October 2016 - September 2017

they keep going up to left and right of Y branch out of sight.

tha is why approach cam was so good but they could not risk the eaglets safety to fix it. And we are all about their safety.

no fledges yet.

Lol Bev, I also checked them this evening since I haven't seen any posts and was wondering if anyone fledged. All home, but this one on the right was very active hop flapping and going from branch to branch. They look good.

Thanks Bev. It won't be long now before they take to the skies. Here's some pics of a nice feed earlier today by Dad.

12:29 pm - Nice big feed by Dad. Looked like a rabbit.
Image

12:38 pm - One eaglet filled up quick. The other was still ravenous and kept pulling the prey away from Dad. There was a tug of war with him several times.
Image

12:45 pm - Finally got it away from Dad for good...mantled it and did some self-feeding.

thanks Nadia

it was funny the other day in my slideshow.

dad brought in a fish which one ate some of and then the other came and slowly took it, away, then the first juvenile found a fish over to right side of nest, whole one , and it ate that.

dad brought in another fish, and later the other juvenile went out to about 11oclock in nest and pulled a whole fish from between branches.,

so food is stashed where , we know not. LOL but the kids do.LOL

they figure next week they will go. when you watch them on approach cam, one i s ready.
