Thanks Bev...I keep checking too...maybe they are still working on the 2 cams.

I haven't been glued to the cams, but have checked frequently. I've only found the eggs alone once, and I haven't personally caught Cadence on either cam 1 or 2..I don't usually have 3 open. She could possibly be on a part of the building we don't see while dad is on the eggs..

6:59 pm - I believe this is Cadence. She was perched there a while...then flew off and Dad flew in to resume his place on the eggs.

As I post these pics tonight, Dad is on the eggs late this evening, wide awake. He is remarkable. :15heartbeat:

At Union - Cadence stood on top of the lighter-colored egg and I thought for sure she had broken it. When she moved away, the egg had been pushed down into the gravel but it looked ok once she started rolling it around. Hopefully it's ok!

She spent some time scraping and rolling the eggs around. At one point she looked like she was about to lay on the darker egg, but changed her mind at the last second.

I don't know if this picture will work or not... photobucket wasn't being very nice to me... (This was before she stood on the lighter egg.)

Cadence in the box this evening, she's been for a while now. She gently rolled both eggs towards and underneath her a few times, not laying on them yet. Picked some pebbles and now she is just standing there. :15heartbeat:

jersy city- still no cams. thought they went to fix outside one , not turn them all off. too bad

hope they are still not outside mucking around as you cannot be doing that close to egg laying. They will lose their falcons ( I was actually shocked about that the other day

Union 7:12pm- eggs are still alone. I have had cam up, but running around house. I have not seen anyone come in. Anyone else see Dad or Cadence. I thought I saw the cam panning, but didn't see anyone, unless I missed them.

7:16 - Cadence just arrived in front of igloo. Looking out, vocalizing.

Sorry guys, I'm still not happy about this situation..maybe because this was one of the cams I watched last year...and started watching again this year...even before eggs.

Union~It will be interesting to see if Dad returns or if he thinks Cadence is now going to take the night shift. If he doesn't return, that's probably it for the eggs unless Cadence suddenly decides she wants to incubate..

Probably best if he lets the eggs go otherwise we could have hatching chicks just as they start incubating Cadence eggs...if she lays.

I think Cadence is at the lower corner. Sadly, I agree. The last few days, it seemed Dad was on the eggs, but not necessarily incubating. And honestly, if he was to stay glued to the eggs, I think we would have several months of incubation.

I just don't think I've seen Dad gone this long since Cadence took the territory. I really hope he is okay.
